How the random spinner wheel works

Choose between 2 and 20 sections, then replace the default color names with people, tasks, activities, destinations or any other options. Every active section has an equal chance of being selected.

Quick setup: Enter 2–20 choices separated by commas in the field beside the wheel. Each non-empty value becomes one numbered choice automatically.

Ways to use this random picker wheel

Use it as a wheel of names, picker wheel, random name selector, random choice generator or decision maker. It also works as a raffle wheel, lucky-draw wheel, giveaway winner picker, prize wheel, classroom spinner, team picker, yes-or-no wheel or number wheel. For informal party games it can provide a wheel-of-fortune-style reveal, but this independent tool is not affiliated with the television program or its owners.

Draw choices once or allow repeat winners

By default, a selected choice is removed from later draws. Its wheel section receives a gray pattern and its text field is locked, making it easy to see which choices remain. Enable Allow repeat winners before the first draw when every choice should stay available indefinitely.

Track the draw order

The wheel records results beneath the wheel in the order they were drawn. When repeat winners are enabled, the history also includes the local date and time of every draw, including seconds.

Fair and private selection

Selections use the secure random-number generator provided by your browser. The winner is chosen locally with equal probability, and your choice names and draw history are not uploaded or sent to MyTools.help.

Start a new wheel

After the first draw, the section count and repeat-winner setting are locked so the rules cannot change partway through a game. Use Reset wheel and confirm the in-page prompt to clear the history, restore the default choices and unlock the setup controls.
